★ Born November 24th, 1990, Brent William Buchanan was the first and born son of David and Jill Buchanan. He was the perfect child who hardly cried and slept through the nights. When his parents went to work, his father practiced law, and his mother was an administrator in the medical field, Brent would go to his Grandparents. His Grandfather William was a former Mayor of Tegesta, and his Grandmother was a former educator.
☆ When Brent was six year's old, his mother found out that her second child was on the way. Nine months later, Shawn Buchanan was born. The idea that Brent wasn't the center of attention anymore didn't sit well at first, but soon discovered that it wasn't as bad as it seemed, and actually started to take to the boy. He would help to feed him, play with him when he was old enough, but never wanted anything to do with changing him.
★ As he progressed through school, Brent was always ready to go, unlike a lot of kids. He looked forward to meeting all his classmates, and learning new things. He always seemed to be one of the first ones to raise his hand, and found himself as the teacher's pet.
☆ Ever since he could talk, Brent was always asking questions. He wanted to learn, to know how everything worked, and why everything was the way that it was. As he became older, he started to argue and debate issues. Clearly it was nothing serious, but Brent always stood firm in his beliefs and tried to get everyone around to feel the same way.
★ When middle school came around, Brent discovered a new aspect of school, the student body government. From the sixth grade on, Brent ran for the SBG, and only lost twice. Every year was a different learning experience for him, and even in High School, Brent was discovering what worked, and what failed, when it came to gathering votes.
☆ Brent is a die hard Democrat, and vows to never change. While he respects the views of Republicans, he totally disagrees with a great majority what they stand for. He isn't afraid to go toe to toe with Republican and Democrats alike and debate a number of issues.
★ Brent isn't all that interested in TV, although he does have a few shows he's totally addicted to. When he has the TV on, 90% of the time he it'll be on MSNBC or CNN. Never in a million years will you ever find him watching Fox News, simply due to the fact that it's Republican spun news which equals out to being nonsense.
☆ His campaign for Student Body President his senior year was a major event at Tegesta High. Brent put his all in to it, demanding that the people running for president have actual debates in front of the entire student body. While a lot of people found Brent to be over qualified for the position, he still won by a landslide. Apparently being over qualified is better than standing up there and just looking pretty.
★ When Brent was sixteen years old, he announced to his family that he was gay. It wasn't much of a surprise to them, and his family and friends were all very supportive. His sexuality is nothing but an afterthought to him, and doesn't use it as a platform to crutch.
☆ His first boyfriend Tommy was exactly that, his first. The two lost their virginity to each other, and pretty much experienced a lifetimes worth of sexual adventures in a rather short amount of time, including his first threesome. Tommy's cheating ways ended their relationship, but the two remained friends until Brent started dating his current boyfriend.
★ The one person who has challenged Brent in every way shape or form is Blaine Herston. Blaine is everything Brent can't stand, including republican, but is everything Brent wants. Their dramatic love affair started one drunken night that including some of the most mind blowing sex either had ever had. After that, it was months of fighting, and will they wont they drama.
☆ Brent and Blaine are now dating, but the fighting has not stopped. Blaine's controlling ways, and his failure to ever admit when he's wrong annoy Brent to no end, but he refuses to give up on them. The two joke about how one day Brent will be the first openly gay President, and Blaine will be the fiercest first lady ever to hit Washington.
